Some schmuck hollered, "V-Stroms suck!" in Brevard, NC, on Oct. 28 @ 2:20 PM

Some schmuck in a gray Olympia jacket and a bad hairpiece hollered out, "V-Stroms suck!" at a red first-generation DL1000 just leaving a stoplight with a Triumph following.

I am that schmuck.

Can you write "schmuck" on this forum.

I'm from the north. I grew up in South Florida and "schmuck" was practically a friendly salutation there.

I don't know if you noticed my beautiful dark white / light black first generation DL650A parked nearby, but if you didn't, you missied out a chance to feast your eyes on the bike that helped answer 97% of all the technical questions on this forum and 27% of the philosophical ones.

If you continued on that road to the Blue Ridge Parkway you will have enjoyed one of my favorite slices of motorcycle heaven. I hope you had no traffic.

That's pretty original and pretty funny too! I opened the thread wondering "how in the heck did he hear someone hollering at him?"

I remember 7 yrs ago chasing a guy down at a redlight to ask him if he liked his DL1000....a few days later, I bought mine....funny how it all works out!
