Nearly four years I have been attendant to this site, for months prior to getting my K9 Wee. I have garnered so much from you all. Fun, Fun, Fun farkling and riding AND I scratched an itch I have had for a long time.....to get another set of two wheels. For months I have been oogling the Moto Guzzi Griso and the BMW R1200R. I rode Griso last fall and immediately knew it was not the one even though for looks and showroom feel it was the clear winner. I recently rode the BMW even though psychologically I have stigmatized them, yah some of you helped to do that. In the late 60's my first bike was an R69 and so full circle after some 30 bikes of all origins from a Vespa to a Harley, two Germans, three Brits and a bunch of Metrics.
The R1200R does it for me! Road, twisties and occasional gravel (when necessary). I found one with the low suspension 600 miles away, a modest array of farkles are ordered with more to follow as needed/desired, so I will ride it home in about 10 days or two weeks.
My K9 is now listed in the For Sale section and surely I will check in from time to time.
Best to you all, ride safe and be happy.
