Well, they changed the term "global warming" for "climate change". You know, they realized some suckers up north were going to freeze instead of warm up.

BTW, weather is getting nice and cozy here. :biggrinjester:

How's that any different than usual... It's always been cold up here... However, the summers are lasting longer and getting hotter...

Don't blame Claire

CBC-TV has been apologizing for the capital punishment y'all are getting, and reminding us how well they did last year.
I think it was a mistake to freeze the salaries of weather forecasters. You cannot blame them for doing the same to you.

Tomorrow I will ride across Florida, for the third time this month; this time I will
join some wicked companions with whom I spent several Ontario winters in the 1950s.

I look forward to visiting Ontario later this spring,
and staying for some of summer. If I visit Ottawa,
the city of my birth, I will try to find you.

Planning for a day of snowmobiling tomorrow to ease the pain. Have two friends coming over in the morning for 120 mile ride through the chicane. Should be fun. Have some farkles sitting here waiting to go on, but no rush, 2 feet snow on the ground. Will post a go-pro video later. :yesnod:

Yeah, 12F here this morning (and I'm a lot farther south). Might be a record low for this date here.

I'm with ya. Bring on warmer weather !

The -8c (17f) temeprature that I woke up to this AM doesn't bother me, but the 5cm (2 inches) of snow I got after midnight really puts a damper on riding. Used a lot of washer fluid driving into work.

An inch of snow here today, and we're at the beach! Usually the presence of the water with its steady 46°F winter water temperature causes rain to fall rather than snow. And I had great powder snow skiing at Stevens Pass yesterday.

Here's a good article about the increasing intensity of storms and the varied effects of the man made global climate change:

Looks like a week of sunshine coming here in Vancouver. I was going to go mow the lawn today, but we had one black cloud roll over and dump rain on us, so will do it tomorrow instead.

Flowers are out. Definately spring here. Move to the coast or further South if your complaining about the snow, you know you want to.

I'm going to go buy an apple tree to plant on April 1st, once the PST kicks in. The tax on fruit trees goes away then.

What a difference a day makes. After a week or so of overcast skies and 30-low 40's(F) temps the sun popped out today with temps close to 50. Already got my "fix" in. Forecasting 6 " of the white-stuff beginning this evening.
Every little bit helps.

Awoke to snow flying this morning just outside of Indy. Supposed to get up to 10" between now and 10 a.m. tomorrow morning. Just rode the Wee yesterday so this sucks. Don't mind riding in the cold but will not ride in the snow.
