After removing the handle bar I ran into my first issue. There is not enough room between the head of the riser and the bar clamp to get a wrench on there. Any suggestions short of cutting down my wrench. These pictures are acually the two parts of the Rox risers, but they are just to show the bar clamp issue, the fit is the same.
I don't have ROX risers, but from your pic there seem to be only two alternatives: 1) cut the wrench down; or 2) go down to ACE hardware and get a hex-head bolt to replace that allen bolt, then use an open-end wrench. I can't imagine you can get very much torque with that allen wrench anyway.
When I did mine, I half tightened the blocked bolts, positioned the riser where I needed it, the tightened to two exposed bolts. They've held tight for about four months so far, however I do not off-road.:yesnod:

Yep, that worked. Also rerouted throttle cables, left and right wiring harnessess behind the triple trees. Removed brake line clamp from under bottom TT. Clutch cable gets snug, may reroute it also.
UPDATE: I decided that I don't like the tension on the brake line. This mod will be on hold till I can get a longer line.
Next question..... Any idea where I can get a longer brake line for an 2012 DL650?
There have been many many Rox posts. A search will get you a lot of info.
Your bolt tightening is what works.
SV Racing has the brake line you need. It's quality stuff and an easy install. Just don't lose the little round dealies that go into the manifold-you'll see in the package.
