Hello Gents and gentetts!

Looking for some wisdom on installing these Hella 55w halogen auxiliary lights. They are only the lights w/ the two wires coming out the back. No relay, fuses, nothing. How do I go about to properly wire these two lights in, in respect to my stator capacity and possibly anything else that I could mess up? :D The specs on the lights are Hella Optilux 1250 model 12v/55w. If it matters, they are going on my Vee.
Thank you

you won't be able to run much heat other than grips if you got those turned on about 150watts or so of power available for accessories

I would use a relay to turn them on and off rather than running 9amps± thru a switch

The best way is via an auxillary fuse panel with switched power (recomend Eastern Beaver as they have a plug n' play one for the V-strom)... Next, If you are going to want to switch them on and off, you'll need a relay if you are using a standard 5amp handlebar switch... If you use a toggle switch rated > than 10amps, then you can use that without the relay set up... You may also want to goggle wiring diagrams to help you more understand how all this works...
