Squid Acronym

A few months ago, there was a thread discussing what SQUID stood for and someone posted a picture of a guy in a speedo and sneakers riding a sportbike to illustrate what the acronym meant. anyone remember what SQUID stands for?
Thanks!

I don't think it's an acronym. I think it's just a name. Never heard anyone give a good explanation of where the term came from. There's a good survey of all of the best guesses over on wikipedia:

I've heard there may be a biological tie to the name. Squids can swim very fast in a straight line (flight reflex) but have to nearly stop to change directions.

I don't know that to be fact but it is funny.

I always wanted to be a pirate
but I can't grow a beard and rum makes me giggle.

OK,.... You showed me yours, I'll show you mine!

"Spore" .... (n) commonly used to descibe flatlanders who come to resort towns and ride snowmobiles, ATVs, bicycles, and jetskis. The rental, more times than not, comes back trashed!
