Has anyone put 17s on the DL650/1000

just wondering if anyone has put 17 inch wheels on the Vstroms as a psuedo-supermoto?

Now before anyone asks, "why?" , the answer will be " just because "

The rear is a 17 and the front a 19. I think the bike does well the way it is. A supermoto is generally a lighter bike with more motorcross type suspension and frame geometry.

Totaled on June 9 2012 08 Victory Vision Tour Premium.
No longer riding due to injuries on June 9 2012.

On the 6fiddy, the front end looks extremely similar to my former SV650, so you might be able to bolt up a 17" wheel from the SV. The liter strom has a different front end and might use donor parts from the SV1000, which also has the 17" wheels.

I think I had seen somebody do that with pics, either here, http://11109.rapidforum.com or www.advrider.com. He had to work on the front fender though, it looked a bit odd..
