Frozen lock

This morning it was -4C and I had a nice layer of frost on the seat. When I went to turn the key, it wouldn't budge. I sprayed some WD40 into it but that didn't really help. So, I used my heat gun to loosen it up. Worked like a charm. Luckily is it supposed to be warmer on the way home.

It's been raining like crazy here for the past month and it seems that I've gotten water into a bunch of places I didn't expect. I've got moisture in both my speedo and tach and I found water inside my starter switch housing.

I was going to say it sounded like a film cannister was in order.

-5C here this AM and my key turned easy!!

Go easy on the WD-40 in the ignition switch, I've heard bad stuff about it.

Good luck with it.
