Totalled wee...very sad/sore today

I have a 07 wee. Farkled up nicely. Givi bars, skid plate, Happy Trails pann's,
etc etc. Been all over Tx, OK, Co, NM, AZ, Ark, LA, etc etc.
But, today totaled by a ding bat in a cage in Austin today.

OK, I was heading down hwy183 service road @ Spicewood about noon in the right lane. Going about 35 or 40. Speed limit was 50.
A white corolla was in the middle lane and turned right. Right in front of me. I had no chance to react, hit the horn or anything other than grab a bunch of brakes.
Crash, smash! I had 5 witnesses stop and declare to the police that it was her fault 100%. 2 of them were riders. They were pissed. I am too.
Nothing is broken on me. Very sore. Went to Round Rock emergency for x-rays, scans, etc. Hit the ground hard but I am OK.
My bike is probably totaled. Definately a mess. Will be able to look at it tomorrow. Everyone (me & dingbat) was insured.
Right now I will ice down my leg and back and relax. Will go see a Chiropractor tomorrow. Next week an acupuncturist.
So, gonna take a nap right now. Remember, I am OK, just real sore. The gear I wear saved me from significant injury. (My Shoei, Tourmaster jacket and boots) Very sad and sore.

Sorry to hear that bud. I know what it feels like, just fixing up mine from a crash in June. Glad you're ok.

There is a war on for your mind.

Stuff can be replaced. Just work at getting better yourself.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
See https://www.stromtrooper.com/general-...nicknames.html

Sorry to hear. Glad you aren't too beat up. Were you wearing jeans? Wouldn't mind seeing gear also.

New bikes are made everyday---new skin and bones take alot longer ( if at all ). It sounds like you'll heal up ok. Be grateful it wasn't worse.

Take it easy for the next few days. You're sore now, but it's gonna hit you pretty hard very suddenly if it does.
