jcw cases

Does anyone have pics of the jcw large trunk mounted on a wee as sidecases? I had mediums on custom made racks but I was going to replace them with large for some extra room. Will they be in the way of the passenger foot pegs? I was scrolling thru page after page on the pics of luggage and wasnt finding any pics. Just wanted to see how different it would look. Thanks

I don't have the JCW cases anymore, went with Bestem Luggage. But to me the are exactly the same. Have three mounted on my bike and the wifes.

Only problem with the Bestem cases, they will not work on the Givi mounts. I have the Bestem Plates mounted in all three areas

I have the big JCW on my Vee. They fit the GIVI side racks and are okay for the passenger. They are big. I have clipped them on a parked car pulling into a parking spot. I have to remind myself to give extra room. On the other hand, they hold alot!

Doggy Daddy:

Which Givi racks do you have the JCW large cases on?? And are they a direct fit?

Thanks.

The mounting racks come with the bags from JCW. I've ordered a couple for different bikes. They do seem to fit loosely on the rack and I use a nylon strap around the top box even though it's locked on the rack.
One caveat though, the bags are not particularly stout like a Pelican bag and may crack or break if the bike falls over or gets bonked into something like a post.
In a crash my JCW top box and Suzuki side bags exploded and let out all the contents!
For an inexpensive top box I do like them though.

Hey Banks.....I bought the racks from Viscious Cycle, Canada. I think they are Givi.....they came in a Givi bag....Oh, they may spell Viscious like Visious, Vicious, etc. They fit the Vee, no probs, and like I said, the JCW snapped on, tight. I used their adapter for the top bag, again no problems. (You'll like the snazzy 'Maltese Cross' that comes on them, too

thanks

Thanks for input. I was going to put them on the givi pl532. I read they fit that. I know they will stick out but all the extra space wil be nice. Especially on trips!

My medium case got cracked by a dude on a Harley trying to zip around and run a red light. I didn't realize it cracked where it mounts but when I got on the highway it fell off at 75 mph and almost hit by a semi and barely got scuffed! I thought it held up great.

They're not Givi quality, even, but then they're a lot cheaper. Are they water tight when used as side bags? I know my Bestem bag, while looking very similar, doesn't have the sealing gasket (or the tight fit at the seam) that my Givi E360 side bags do.
