Motogp Laguna Seca

Just curious if anyone is planning on going to the Motogp at Laguna Seca this year? If so, Riding there? Camping? We usually go and camp. This year a small group of us will be riding and camping at the track. I am in the minority being the only strommer...travelling with a roadliner and a ninja (guess who is hauling the majority of the gear?). Oh, but it's worth it; we have a great time every time!

First timer coming down from Washington! There will be two of us on 'stroms, so you won't be the only one for sure. Really looking forward to it!

That's good to hear. Last year we didn't get to the track until Saturday and camped in the overflow area. the only place we could find was a hillside; made for some memorable stories but I don't think I would like to experiece slip-n-slide sleeping bags again. Earplugs, a camera and binoculars are a must.
So is sunscreen, there is almost no shade around the track although some of the vendor's tents have fans(good marketing to draw customers inside). I have been looking forward to and planning this trip since we got back from the last one. I'll be on the lookout for fellow strommers: we will be camping at turn 11. Hope to see you there!

Cool! We should be around turn 11 as well. Thanks for the tips, I had not put binocs on the list, though they should have been obvious.

See you there!

Hey Mako6 - sent you a PM inquiring about what camping amenties Laguna Seca offers. I've camped at some of the Super Bike races and have had everything from nice bath house with hot showers to creepy outhouses with only cold water and no showers!

Me and some of by buds are thinking about going out there 2013.
