Got a few bells n whistles fitted, so I'm as happy as a fat politician at a banquet. Intending to ride a few more South Island roads as well as fang around my local tarmac. The radar-detector helps me keep my licence and the Givi touring screen keeps the wind from making me deaf. I find the advice threads quite interesting, including the shite thrown at dumb-asses. I'll prob'ly be asking dumb-ass questions too when it comes time to take a spanner to the Strom. Cheers.
Hi Pete, I'm in Palmy and have had my Vee for just over a year and love it. Haven't gone South on her yet but it will happen. I've pretty much not gone more than 300km from home but now have ridden a heap of roads I never new existed. I know for a fact there's plenty of good gravel just South of you...
