anybody tried these panniers???

Anybody tried or know anything about these panniers?? Good, bad, anything at all?? They look good and I think the price is fair.

They look nice, a little thin being only 1/16", I wonder why the smaller ones are more expensive? Cheers--BB

there's two models of each size. One has hinges, the other is the "lift off" lid, the "lift off" lid is cheaper.

Hi all,

I'm the guy who makes these boxes and I hope you don't mind that I invaded you forum. Here are the answers to the above questions:
1/16" is about 1.6mm, which is sufficient and not unusually thin, e.g. Touratech uses 1.5mm. It also is a good compromise between stability and weight. If you go down any box will dent, after all you are putting 400-500 lbs. on a piece of aluminum.
The small (33l) boxes are a little more expensive, because there is less demand for it, so I made less of them, resulting in higher costs for me.
