Moose Racing windshield

Has any one tried the Moose Racing wind screen? They have a short screen, and I'm wondering if it is drilled so it will fit higher for cool weather use? I have a stock screen that has been cut off by about 2 inches, works OK, but pretty scratched up after 40,000 miles. I have a GiVi tall screen, but it's to tall for me.

Can't answer your question. Ordered one today for a KLR. Couldn't find reviews on it either. :beatnik:

I just got mine on today and took it for a quick ride. It is drilled the same as the stock unit. You could run it with the brackets in the higher position, but its not going to do what you want in cold weather.

If I were you I would get another shield for cold weather.

BTW, I Love how this shield looks and performs. It puts my helmet in smooth undisturbed air while keeping most of the wind blast off my chest. I plan on running this most of the time, even in cooler weather.

I'm really happy with the CalSci Shorty, which I think looks good and is very handy with a Madstad.

I have had the short Moose for about a month now. No buffetting, but louder due to increased airflow from mid chest up. It makes the 100 degree plus days more tolerable. It looks good and works well on the highest position, (I am 6'3"). I would give it a

I just got mine. I bought the 2" taller than stock unit. Wanted to replace with stock but at $180 there was no way. The Moose Racing replacement was about $60. Seems perfect, can't believe I waited so long, after 50k+ it was shot.
