No Stroms in Beijing China
Well I just got back from a business trip to Beijing, China. Didn't see a single Strom, Wee or V, the whole time
. Apparently motorcycles have been banned from inside the 4th ring road, but you still see plenty of the older Suzuki GS125 and GS250 inside the 4th ring. Did stop by some motorcycle shops and did talk to a European guy who was trying to work out a deal on a GSX-R 750. Only new bikes I know that are sold are Harley, BMW, and I did see a KTM Adventure new, and I am sure you can get some Chinese new bikes too, but they are supposedly clones of other makers designs. I did see some cool sidecar bikes that you can buy and ride anywhere in town because they don't consider them motorcycles. Will post some pics later on those in the off topic forum.
On a good note though I did buy a black Adlo 982 Trunk with bracket for my 650 for $225 RMB, or $29 US. Looks just like a Givi E45
. Should have it in a few weeks since I shipped it to myself via USPS.
