Used exhaust

Where is a good place to get used exhaust? Been looking on e-bay lately but no luck so far. Are there any exhaust for other bikes that will work on the strom? Just trying to save a buck so any suggestions are appreciated, I would like to find a set for around $300. Haven't been convinced that drilling baffles is a good alternative so I am trying to do it the "right" way. Thanks.

Why buy used?

Here's a brandy new scorpion stainless pipe from pipecity for 275:

I had one on my SV, and it sounded gnarly, nothing at all like the baffle drilling that I had done previously (not the way to go IMO).

It never needs repacking, and once you hear the sound, you won't go back!

I love them she hates them. These pipes are awsome and let the V Strom breath liek it was ment to. My wife doset like them when she is ridding with me, No I cant tell her not to ride any more. So I guess I am going to part with them and keep the peace.
I have pics so email for more information since I have no clue how to post a picture here.

Re: Used exhaust

I think there is a pair of used mufflers on e-bay right now. Do a search for suzuki v-strom and about 60 items should come up.

I've been keeping my eye on the TB pipes but I have heard that they are too loud. Wanted something like leo vince or holeshot sound. I couldn't find any on e-bay at a decent price but I will keep checking.

I wanted to buy used simply to save the money. I added everything up and it would cost about $765 for leo vince pipes and a PCIII, or even more for other brands of pipes. If I could get a good deal on some used ones, then I wouldn't have as much of a problem spending the money.

Well, broke down and bought the leo vince sbk from adventure motostuff. Figured it wasn't that much more for new ones so why not Now I just have to figure out what I want to do as far as a re-map. May just have to find a dealer that can re-map the ecu for me and save the money instead of spending another $200 on a PCIII or techlusion.

If I do find a dealer that can re-map, what percentages should I go up on for everything? Thanks.
