Windshield height

I just bought my first strom. An 06 used DL1000 with Givi cases and a aftermarket taller and wider windshield. I absolutely love it. Much better than my 01 Katana. Anyway I have a question on height of the windshield. I rode it around with the height about my chin and had some wind buffeting that I could duck under when I wanted to. I raised it to play and it is now right at eye level but I have no buffeting. I am not sure I like it there, because I am either looking over or uner all the time. Where do you all have your set?

I like the lowest position on my OEM windscreen.

Depends on the shield....I have the Givi D260 ST on my Strom. I have it in the middle slot, with little to no buffeting. You will just have to experiment, what works good for others may not work for you.

What he said.

Givi on my 650 with MadStad bracket. No buffeting at all.
