Oooops, wrong screw (fast idle)
Hi. I just picked up a 2005 Vee. It had a bit of a studder around 4K, so I figured I would sync the throttle bodies. I pretty much had them balanced but was trying to get them even closer and, oops, reached in a grabbed the wrong screw and gave it a twist. Took a little bit before I realized what happened. Seemed like a good time for a break right then.
So I've been trying to research a cure. The couple procedures I've seen so far talk about removing the tank (mine is over half full currently). Does this need to be done on a DL1000 to reset the fast idle?
I'm not morally opposed to removing the tank since I need to get familiar with the bike anyway. But if it isn't necessary, I'd rather not bother with it. Thanks!
