Saddle Bag Slowmotion Promotion

Man, Suzuki's saddlebag incentive to buy a leftover Wee, could be borderline fraud.
I went to my dealer to see what's the delay. I bought my Wee Feb. 1 or so, and hadn't heard zip from the dealer or Mama Suzuki.
The dealership was great, they phoned Mama and after being passed around, were told to speak to the District Sales Manager. The salesperson rung him up and got a bunch of "blah, blah, blah."
I left with exactly what I entered the dealer with, except knowing that it's not any fault of my dealer, WTH-over.

Still waiting on mine too. They told me mid April a couple of weeks ago. I will call them next week and see what the status is.

Been waiting 8 weeks here.... I am actually not so mad about the delay as I am about the dealer won't even answer me back if they have gotten them in or not unless I really really push to find out. I only call every couple of weeks, it is not like I have been bugging them too much about it or anything.

I am not familiar with the promotion you refer to, but I have never bought a bike not physically in the showroom....

It was a promotion for a reduced price on the Suzuki Saddlebags when you purchase the 2011 V-Strom. The saddlebags & 0% APR were two of the selling points for me.

I called the dealer today to find out if he had heard anything from Suzuki yet on the saddle bags. He said he emailed the rep this morning and hasn't heard back from them yet. I called Suzuki USA today and they told me they are supposed to releasing from the warehouses the 3rd week of April. Well it's the 3rd week of April so hopefully it will be any time now.

I bought my bike on 3/2/12, got the bags, no side racks. Asked the dealer today and they had no new information. Annoying.

You guys are lucky just to be able to buy them from the dealer. My dealer wanted to charge me $400-600 to be able to buy them. HE claimed that it comes out of their pocket. I bought Givi's and couldnt be happier

I got my left over o11 from a dealer in St Charles, MO. and the bags arrived in about 2-3 weeks, the purchase date was 3-12-12. I understand how you guys feel, I was starting to feel the same way. They didn't notify me when they came in, I was out in the area and just dropped by to check. So the bags are out there somewhere, don't understand why some get them and some don't.
