Center stand springs

One of the springs on my OEM center stand broke and now the center stand won't retract. Just went to Suzuki and they said they can't order just the springs. They would be willing to sell me a whole new center stand for $260. I'm sure Anyone know where I can get just the springs? It's an '05 650.

Try an on-line dealer if you local can't get you the part from your local dealer. The inner spring is PN 09443-14058 and the outer spring is PN 09443-19011. $4.25 and $4.19 respectively plus shipping at MR Cycles and even cheaper at Ron Ayers. Shop around.

Well, those are the part numbers for the KICK STAND SPRINGS. I need the center stand springs, like the thread topic says. Oh well. The springs were on sale. Couple of bucks wasted.

You can get the springs you need from Suzuki, I just ordered and installed them, they're perfect. They're just not under the DL1000 parts list. Order the following part numbers:

09443-14059 and 09443-22013

Roughly $12.00 for both including tax at my local dealer.

They are the same springs as the old GS550E. Fast shipping. Up to 40% off Honda, Yamaha, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Polaris OEM motorcycle parts and accessories. Deep reseller discounts.

Numbers 5 and 6 in the fiche.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
