New Farkles and Short Reviews

Hi Everyone,
Just short reviews. Thought they might help someone out.

1. Madstad Windshield Bracket...........
Around $65.00
Installation was very easy.
Does a great job eliminating buffeting.
Well worth the money.

2. Givi E52 Max w/brake lights............
Just under $300.00
Came with no directions, but with your help finally got the brake lights working(thanks everyone).
Good construction, looks good and plenty of room. Brake lights(2), are bright and up high. Adds great visibility when stopping.
As luggage goes, worth the money? Yes.

3. Givi Topcase Mounting Bracket........
$78.00
Fairly easy to install.
Has hands free brake light contacts and holds the case very solid.
Worth the money? Yes and no. I think it should come with the case, bike specific.

4. Suzi Hand Guards..........
$42.00
Easy to install.
A must for cold weather riding.
Worth the money. So, so.

5. SW-Motech Barbacks and Risers..........
$100.00
Easy to install. No cable alterations.
Greatly improved my riding position.
They are too expensive, but I would pay it again.

6. Suzi Bigger Windscreen...........
$68.00
Easy to install.
POS. Very flimsy. Flutters in the wind right where you are looking over the top. Distracting. The bend in the shield distorts your view when taking a sharp curve.
Worth the money. Not even close!!!!!!!

7. Kouba Lowering Links..........
$75.00
Pain to install, simply because I don't have the proper jacks, etc. Used a car jack and wood blocks. Wouldn't be bad with proper tools.
Can get both feet solid on the ground now. Can back up my baby while sitting on her. Seems to corner better with the lower center of gravity, but haven't had a chance to really try that out yet(rain). BTW, I also raised the front forks by 3/4".
Worth the money? The results make it so.

8. Grip Puppies.......
$7.50
On the way.

9. Dan V. Road Pegs...........
$137.00 shipped.
On the way.

Any comments or questions are welcome !
Blue Sky's,
Jim

water warrior,
I got them from California Sport Touring. $7.50 and they will ship them for free, or 2-3 day for an extra $4.00.
Yup, getting ready for a 2,600 mile trip to see my daughter. Leaving in a few days. Plus my wife and I vacation on motorcycles.
Spring will be the first time on a bike this small, but from all indications it will do fine.

Best,
Jim

P.S......... Just got a mail from Dan. He said my road pegs were shipped and should be here by Wed/Thurs. I just ordered them about 1pm today. Now that's service. Thanks Dan.
