Anybody use the EK screw type master link?

I saw that EK has a screw type Master link that does not require a rivet tool. I know the screw pin breaks off after it is tightened, but do the nuts break off with it, leaving a mushroomed rivet head?

Update:

Bought an EK 525 MVXZ 120 link chain on Ebay for $88.00 today and ordered a Screw type master link for $15.95 from moto-chains.com (who charges $139.98 for the same chain).

This vendor told me that the screw type link is their best selling item! I guess more people are using them than I thought.

I posted this to the ADV forum yesterday:

I talked to a nice knowledgeable Japanese lady at EK today, and she told me that the links are not interchangeable. I googled and read some posts where some people used an "O" ring screw link with an "X" ring chain. According to this lady, there are dimensional differences in the different EK 525 chains.

As far as I have been able to tell, the dealers don't have a clue as to what goes with what.

Examples from the nice Japanese lady:

EK 525MVXZ chain gets the 525MVXZ-SLJ screw link.

EK 525SRX chain gets the 525SRX-SLJ screw link.

Pretty simple.

I searched the internet for the best deal on these chains. Here is what I found so far:

http://www.indysuperbike.com/custome....php?cat=21364

EK 525SRX 120 link $67.95 w/rivet link (Dealer was $110.00)

EK 525MVX colored chain 120 link $88.95 w/rivet link

I got the name of a wholesaler from EK and made a call today. They gave me a number for a place that they distribute to. I called and I'm waiting for a return call to get a price. I'll post it if it's competitive.
