Seasons

Well the weather really sucks here. After a beautiful summer, the forcast tomorrow is periods of rain mixed with snow with a high of 4 C (39F).
Night Wolf has it worse I'm thinking since the Banff area has snowfall warnings of up to 15 cm.

So that's where our winter went to. Hopefully we've had our last snowfall for this year, and we are now seeing bright sunny spring days. Unfortunately its a weekend and I'm stuck at work, but there is a rally on in two weeks time only 500 kms away so that'll be a good ride as long as you keep the snow in Alberta, and we keep the spring weather.

The weather is the main reason I left Alberta. Try to survive the winter and spend the summer recovering.

I moved here to get a job and to have a chance at a future. I don't want to live on goverment handouts and am willing to work for what I want.

We had 6 inches of snow overnight on Thursday and then it snowed again Friday evening

Wow! ! ! Snow in September!

I get to ride all year long and it never really gets all that cold here! HOT, yes, cold - rarely!

Here in Alberta it's a DRY cold That and it seriously discourages the venomous snakes, spiders and other crawling verimin. Hell, even rats aren't tough enough to live here.

I lived on Gabriola Island in BC for a while but could not stand the the winter there. Cold and wet with grey skies are not a combination I enjoy.

Hey I have the first two requirements of my move here fulfilled: I have a job and I am now in Calgary, renting a room. It will be better when I can get a place of my own, but for now all is good. I have a 32" LCD tv, free cable and free internet until Sunday when my own internet service is hooked up
