Top case: questions about the Givi E52

I bought the factory side cases for my new bike, a silver DL1000K6. I guess I was kind of hoping they would be a little higher quality. They look pretty good, but can be a pain to shut sometimes. Regardless, I ended up having to buy both the OEM side mounts and the top mount, which replaces the spiffy rubber pad luggage rack with this black flat metal thing. Ugh. I got the side cases to keep the center of gravity low, but for around town, I'm worried I'm gonna bump something with how they stick out (I keep bumping stuff around the house

Anyway, so I have a top rack there now that I don't mind drilling, and I am considering getting a top case, and the Givi E52 has caught my eye.

So, my questions are:

1) I assume I need to buy a mount for it. Seeing as I'm cool with drilling holes in the rack I have on there now, what is my cheapest option? Mind you, I have the Suzuki OEM mount already, but it looks different than what I have seen of Givi mounts. The OEM cases have the logo 'SOFT' on them on the inside.

2) I see that one of the colors is silver. Does anyone have an idea of how well it matches the silver of the bike? My sidecases are already party silver, might as well match

Or, if anyone has some other top case suggestions, I'm all ears.

I got a top box with my wee strom when I bought it. I told them I did not care what brand it was so long as it held two helmets.

Its a Givi E52 or E56 Cant remember but its a Big phugger.

I load it with all kinds of stuff, helmets jackets I carry my laptop to work in it on a regular basis.

It can be a pain to lug around (thinking about getting one of those internal bags I read about somewhere on this forum) But it does its job and thats whats important...

My only concern (and I think I am just paranoid) is that the plastic bracket it sits on will crack, so far though this has not happened.

Mind you their are four rubber lugs that sit in holes at each corner of the plastic bracket. they were ment to stop it rattleing around i assume, they all fell out, but I just replaced them with some stickon rubber pads from the local $2 shop.
