I do. I have a 2008 Wee with bar risers, a gel seat and Rick's peg lowering kit. Yet I still find that the footpegs are back at least an inch from where I think they should be. Standing at 6'5" with real long legs it just seems that the ergonomic triangle does not work for me. Have any of you tall dudes found a better solution? Bar backs and a taller seat? Highway pegs? Leg shortening surgery? I had a KLR650 and found it to have a much more comfortable riding position with the pegs being more forward with less bend to the knees. Could it have been the flat seat on the KLR allowed me to slid back further?

Ok, what is a RDL? I do have the gel seat and also stand a lot. What I really am looking for is wider pegs I guess. I'll take Randy's suggestion and look into Goldwing pegs.
mine are just right, personally. It is all related to your riding position. I use the "master yoda" position so the balls of my feet are back a little farther than the "chair" position that a lot of people seem to ride in.

The DL1000 seat is taller for sure and should be a simple thing to try out.
You may well have been sliding back on the KLR seat as well.

Long legs will cause a problem, perhaps the opposite that most do is the solution, a taller wider seat to extend the distance from the seat to the pegs.
I find the pegs to be perfect, but I'm 5" shorter. Highway pegs, if far enough forwards and low enough, will help much too for an alternative position. For me when I get cramps I just stand up. Very easy on these bikes and having the footpegs where they are makes it that much easier.
Drivers tend to look at you like you're some dare devil but it's a dual sport, you're supposed to be able to stand up. (I used to do this on rare occasion on the cruisers too, "that" looks silly)
Even better than the Vee seat would be the suzuki gel seat. It is higher, firmer and the seat "pocket" is further to the rear. At 6-3 it is much more comfortable to me than the stock 650 or 1000 seat. Also, at about $160-180 new it's a great deal. The only issue with it is that it gets hot if you leave it sitting in direct sunlight. I also don't recommend it for short people.
I don't find it real natural to stand up though. For me, it seems like the bars are a little low for standing. I always figured if I wanted to do much off-road riding I would need to buy higher bars.

The gel seat is warm, but is great with an Alaska Leather sheepskin.
As for pegs too far back ... Didn't your bike come with power adjustable pegs when you ordered the heated/ventilated power reclining seat option? They come standard on the gray models. I'd complain to the dealer.
Really, I think the position is ideal. To me the Wee with high bars sits like a big dirt bike with even more leg room than any other bike I've ridden. When standing the peg position and grip (better with Fastway pegs) feel terrific and roomy (with ATV hi bar or riser). Coming off a sport bike you might say they are too far forward; coming off a cruiser they are too far backwards.
For real cheap you can easily add a set of folding highway pegs to stretch out on long journeys. Strange as it seems, I added folding highway pegs (off eBay) to my XR650L because the legroom was tight despite the very tall seat height, because the 13" ground clearance "stole" inches off the legroom. The highway pegs weren't for me though but Alaska bound XRL riders almost always have 'em and when folded they are forgotten.
try goldwing pegs, quite a bit wider, the feel as if they were further forward, I have gl1500 pegs, they are lower by about ¼" I understang GL1800 pegs are an inch lower
I initially found them about 2" back from where I'd like, but I was used to riding old BMWs and Hondas etc which have the pre-sports bike "standard" peg siting. Rick's lowering kit made it a lot more comfortable for me, near perfect in fact, and if I can find a used Vee seat that will be going on. (Too expensive to buy new here and I'd prefer not to modify the existing one.)
I felt the same way, even with bar risers, and Ricks peg lowering kit.
I just put on a Sargent seat, which I like ALOT better than stock, and it lets me move around a bit more, lets me sit further back if I want.
I also added some highway pegs, now its an all day riding couch!

While I am only 6' and find the peg position acceptable, I have had a chance (once) to ride a VStrom that had the pegs lowered about an inch; unfortunately I don't know who the lowering kit manufacturer is.
But the result is that the pegs really did feel like they had been forward quite a bit. I have to think that for a big 6'5" guy that the (relatively) minor change of lowering the pegs, either by going with the GL1800 pegs or a peg lowering kit, might result in a surprisingly large improvement in knee comfort.
With Ricks peg lowering kit, I find the pegs just about perfect.
