Dl1000 front wheel on Wee Strom?

Does anyone know if a front wheel/rotors from a 1000 will fit on the 650?

I do believe the brakes are the same but there is a difference( I think ) in the axle size etc. Basing this assumption on the fact that a larger tool is needed to remove the front axle/wheel. Surely I will be corrected very shortly.

It's hard to tell. The part numbers for everything are different except the disk to hub bolts. Even the identical tires as listed by size are the same size but with different part numbers.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

That is just wonderful to know. NOT ! This would be to prevent a dealer from stocking one part to fit two bikes. And serves to keep owners off balance too.
