Yeah, I get it!

I picked up my '06 Wee from the dealers today. As I entered a four lane divided road, I gave it a whole bunch of throttle and snicked the bike up a gear, it brought a huge smile to my face.:biggrinjester:
I totally understand the appeal of these bikes, they're just FUN!
Two of my friends have sat on or ridden the Wee today, both have raced off home with plans to sell their bikes.
I warned them, don't ride one unless you want to buy one!

Regards, Andrew.

Typhoon:

I think you described it best. I have gone through a cruiser (truly unmissed, unliked, and happily unloaded). An ST1100. ST1300, and FJR (that I still own in addition to the DL650.

But when all is said and done, and I just want to ride and have fun or just relax. The Vstrom is what I get on. It is just fun. Whether just farting around town or carving twisties. It just brings a smile to your face. Even my wife comments that I am always in a good mood after riding the Wee -- no matter how miserable the day may have been, or how bad the weather is outside,; or any other circumstances for that matter.
