Is this old news - GL1800 Pegs

I have just swapped my stock pegs for Honda Gold Wing pegs on my WEE. They fit right on. They also give you twice the surface area to rest your feet & lower than the stock peg by a little over 1/2 to 3/4 inches. Pull the peg pin slide the Wing pegs on. Adjust the shifter & brake pedal & your done 10 min install.

Gotta like it.

Ditto, the stock narrow lil' pegs seemed like they were burrowing right through the soles of my boots on the ride home tonight, and I was wishing for a wider, more comfy peg solution....post pictures and quote cost fer yer fellow inmates here, puuuhleeeeeeze!!!

Thanks!

Great idea

Hey ST114ME that is a GREAT idea.......... Aren't you glad that I told you & Graham about it........LOL It certainly makes a long ride a lot more confortable for the legs, knees and soles of the feet.

Pegs

I'll take some pictures as soon as it stops pouring. I have been successful buying the pegs for 2 wee's & replacement of the worn out pegs on my 1800 Wing on the Gold Wing forums. I have paid from 25 to 35 delivered. Yes 09 Im glad you found this out. But it's always good to share knowledge with others.

Another source is the trike builders. Do it quick before the GW owners see the demand. 1800's only

Hmmmm...sorry but something isn't smelling right here...

This could be an attempt to foist a "gateway farkle" from the "red wing" world in an attempt to corrupt the innocent S'trooper user base here. Installation of these pegs may lead to harmful side effects of desiring other "hip" accoutrements associated with the "wingie" lifestyle, such as "cupholders", "CB Radios", "AARP" stickers, stuffed "toy bears" bungee-corded to the pillion area, and inevitably, uncontrollable cravings for a "reverse gear".

So if you are still under 50 years of age, be advised to install these at your own risk!!!! :biggrinjester:

Sadly, I am seeing that weather as we speaks....

Sorry, I was just concerned about the young'uns 'round here, ya know. Might help keep demand and cost down too if we keep 'em away from the hard stuff...for now....

Appreciate the pictures...I'm 6 months away from Gold Wing eligibility myself so I'll likely take the plunge, although ironically I *just* ordered a set of Richland Rick's peg lowering brackets, which shoudl arrive tomorrow, and if these pegs drop the feet even lower then maybe the two together will be a bit much, but there's only one way to find out I suppose...thanks!
