Yakima Bike Rack on top of Jesse Bag

Can't see why it wouldn't work. Trying to figure out a way to attach the bicycle to the DL1000. I have Jesse's I would need to reinforce the inside of the Jesse bag with some metal. The front forks would need to be configured to turn sideways an maybe some mirror extenders so visibilty on the right mirror would not be blocked by the bike. Is this crazy, I think it would be completely stable, safe and bomb proff. A tip over would suck outside of that I think I may have a plan here. Any opnions, comments, fears or thumbs up thumbs down are welcome.

You might want to check out this guy - Bike Racks for Motorcycles Bicycle Carriers 2x2 Cycles

I'm not affiliated in any way other than that he lives down the street from me. I ran into him outside an Ace hardware one day. He was on his 1150gs with his bike on the back (as seen on his site). We chatted for about 30 minutes and he seems to be a really good guy. Looking over the rack on his GS, it looked pretty solid. Also, his prices are pretty good concidering what most moto accessories go for. He told me he's done Stroms before with great success.

Best of luck.

EDIT: Here's a good youtube video describing the product. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v-ooeiE3pG0

Thank you both for the replies. I have not seen that rack before an I am contacting that gentlemen about the 2x2 racks. Looks like the best cleanest system I have seen. My wife rides a 650 GS single so in the end your kindest may bring him 2 rack sells. I was hoping though to keep my rear Koocase on the motobike and mount a bike rack on top of the Jesse but my home made stuff would not be as clean as his and not as safe.

Thanks again I certainly appreciate your kindness.
