Pic's from Canadian Rockies Trip

Thanks to all who made suggestions re my trip on the September long weekend. Being my first big trip period it was amazing!! Having driven throught the Canadian Rockies by car it wasn't my first time, but really it was!

Anyone who hasn't driven their strom to Jasper or Lake Louise and Banff yet needs to plan it for next summer. From the twisty mountain roads to the valleys in Jasper and the breath taking vistas its something you will never forget and will want to do at least every couple years. Not to mention the wildlife you will see (bears, mountain goats, big horn sheep, Elk, Caribou etc) the rivers and lakes that are pristine will leave and indelible memory with you!
Hwy's riden from Vancouver:Hwy#1,#5,#93. Wanted to hit the #95 and #3 Crowsnest but my buddies Kawy 440 ltd had clutch cable issues.

Have attached a few of the 600 or pics here for your viewing pleasure.

Columbia icefields

The pic with the ice buses is as stated above. I saw a side road that said "authorized vehicles only" and thought hmmm that must include Vstroms and old kawasaki's of course. Was a gate down and had to drive the big strom around some boulders and through loose fist sized gravel to get back up the road. Of course the 440 ltd made it no problem but I got stuck a few times till we got to the top as seen in pic
