Got the metal outta my arm!

On Friday, I had surgery to take the metal plate out of my arm at a 'teaching hospital'.

Today I removed the bandage and had a really good laugh.

Obviously, the doctor was a newbie with the staple gun. I'm glad it's only cosmetic!

I think the doc needs to take a "working with power tools" course.

In the metric system those staples are evenly spaced.

Aren't there rules about alcohol and power tools? Hope you're OK and this doesn't cramp your style this Wilberforce weekend.

Its best to avoid American teaching hospitals around this time of year, the new residents have arrived and given small jobs to break them in. Don't know if that applies in the Canadian system or whether I've just seen proof that it does.

I think that's a barcode - if you have to have it fixed again they can just scan the scar to get the medical history......

Jeezz...you didn't have to go to the doctor. I could have done THAT for you!

Are you still going to Wilborforce this coming weekend?
