Vibes at cruising speed.

I have owned many Bikes over the years the 650 v-strom is the best to date as an all rounder.
I have one big problem with it as Iam cruising along at around 100 KLM their is an enoying vibration in the handelbars (throttle)The Bike has done over 10,000 KLM, the service is due at 12,000 I have asked a few people about my problem & they say it could be that the throttle bodies are out of sinc & thats causing the vibes , I said that to the dealer & he swept it under the carpet, but he did say on the 12,000 KLM service they do check the throttle bodies.
The Bike shop Iam enoyed at because they did not check the throttle bodies at the 6,000KLM service when I mentioned the vibes I was having maybe its a big job ha, the bike is still under warranty, is their any one out their with the same problem??? Cheers Julian

If memory serves me correctly, the Wee has a vibe around 5000 rpm. That would be close to your mentioned speed. My Wee was almost vibe-free until I installed Givi bars and then it was more noticable. Now I just stay away from 5000 rpm/steady speed.

My bike is definitely smoother at 5500-6000RPMs (75-80 mph in 6th gear) than at 4000-5000 RPMs. You might just try shifting down to 5th gear when you are only going 100km/h. It will put you back in the main power band and smooth out your ride.
