Bad Dream(s)?

Am I the only one that gets bad dreams of crashing after a long, hard, good day of riding?
I always end up reliving the near-crashes I had or what could have happened if I wasn't paying attention.

Maybe this is just my minds way of making sure I am dilligent and mindful of what could happen
while having so much fun.

Cheers.

Nope you are not alone. Happens often with me after a real close one. Think you are right, just serves to keeps your eyes sharp to the dangers out there.

My first western North Carolina mountain carving experience. For this Florida flatlander resulted in 2 out of 3 nights, waking up from a sound sleep. As I was going into a turn to hot and riding off the road and I kept falling and falling.

Yup, had nitemares for years after a head-on in a cage. Not a cool way to wake up. As for bikes and crashes, I really wonder about having a bike sometimes when there is a post about deer/critters out there with a death wish. And I won't go into cages and dumb drivers. What the hell, I could fall in the shower tonite too. Ride safe, ride on.

I've had several close calls and I always end up reliving them time and time again. After ever wreck I've ever had (2 motorcycle and 2 in cages) I've relived them and woke up right before impact. The mind definately plays strange games with you.

Last couple of weekends I've seen numerous wild life and had a couple of close encounters. I'm always watchful for gleaming eyes and nervous in wooded areas. I've seen too many reports and pictures of collisions with large animals.

Hope everyone has a safe and fun riding season.

Cheers.

The fall (in your dreams or reality) won't hurt you, it's the sudden stop at the bottom!

Nope. Not at all.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
