new strom owner worries

Being the proud owner of a used 03 dl1000 I worry as to what is going to happen because I like this thing so much. I have questions as to what has to or should be done with clutch basket or mapping procedures or anything else to this machine. I'm sure nothing has been done to it yet and with about 11K on it I want to stay on top of things. What's best in oils and overall maint. Any suggestions/help. This 56 year old needs tips on this hi-tech stuff... Thanx to all

Use the search button to find many different things. Because you have broad questions it may be the best option for you. And welcome to the forum.

You have bought an excellent bike!

Congrats on the bike! This site is saturated with super tips and suggestions for you (the search function will prove this) as well as having access to some really, really mechanically inclined folks. Not being one of them, I can vouch that you will have lots of support here for you and your Strom. Stromtroopers, as a whole, are one of the most kind and genuinely caring groups of riders I have associated with in all my years (and miles) of riding. Best wishes to you.
