picked up my 06 dl 1000 2day

i found a really clean 06 1000 and rode it today for the 1st time i sold my st 1300 i thought it was to close to a gold wing.also just sold my 00 vfr i think i mightmiss that a little more. i just wanted 1 bike and i think i found it. i thought the bide rode very well the motor fells super.my 1st non hd twin i really like the motor. bike is bone stock. the only issue i might have to get use to is the bike seems really tall.i read the 650 sits lower can you switch the seats from the 650 to the 1000

Welcome to the club. The 650 and the 1000 are the same
physical size except for the seats, which are interchangeable. I have the 1000 seat on my 650.

It is tall, HD's if remember have a seat height of about 26". Get some engine guards it will help save the tupperware in a tip over.
