Emgo mirrors

In wanting to keep a similar look to the Vee, but being plagued by the cracked ring on the OEM mirrors, I finally settled on a set of replacements.

Emgo Part# 391518 and 391517 from Dennis Kirk. Turns out that they are the same heads as the OEM (just with an EMGO logo), but longer stems than the OEM. $11 each, OEM look, and a wider stance to clear the elbows.

Don't know if they will end up with the same problem as the OEM with the cracked ring, but they are cheap enough to try.

I'll post some pics tomorrow.

I've had the Emgo 391504 for over 30K miles with no issues.

The Emgo's I got came with some cheezy rubber-accordian "boot" on them which was "cool" in its own little way. It's the complete opposite of those $200 chrome dagger mirrors.

edit: Yeah, the 391504's that DirtDad pointed out.

I know others have stated how much of a difference in the wind buffetting a change in mirrors makes, but I didn't really expect it to be that big of a change.
