Rain Gear

I was looking for rain gear and i heard great things about the Frog Toogs. I was at my local dealer and they had a set for $59. Glad i didnt get that even though i though the price was ok. I went to cabela's and they have the exact same suit but in there brand called Dri Ducks an it was on sale for $19. Looked at the material and everything and it was the exact same. What a steal. Check them out if your in the market for rain gear.

I think frogg toggs makes dri ducks, it's just their economy brand.

Good luck!

My Olympia gear came with insulated rain gear which is not great for the occasional summer shower. So I went to Wally World and bought a set of Stearns rain gear from the Sporting Goods Department ($35 total, jacket and trousers). You can roll it up, Ziploc it and keep it under the seat to wear under your textile/mesh riding gear when you need it

Also, you can wear the hood under your helmet to keep the rain from running down the back of your neck when you're stuck in traffic because some idiot thought AWD would keep his SUV from flipping on the moistened Interstate..

toggs.......

Iust got a new set of frogg toggs to replace the ones with the hole melted in the back of the right leg. I have had my old set of frogg toggs for several years and they have always given me pretty good rain protection. I took my sons 09' Street Glide for a little 500 miler up to Billings and back an managed to forget what having a set of exhaust pipes right behind my right leg meant. I didn't notice it until Ben asked what was on his pipes? I took a look and lo and behold I had a 3 or 4 inch hole in the leg. they have now become my backup set to leave in the Burgman for trips to town. The Toggs may not be the equal of a high dollar riding suit but as a set that is very easy to carry and use in a hurry, they work pretty well for me.
