Cool Picture of the Wee on the little dragon...

This is the Little Dragon, so-called by local riders. It's in the California Sierra mountains, about an hour or so south of Yosemite. From this spot you can ride some of the greatest roads on the planet, including the legendary Sierra passes of Tioga, Sonora, Ebbetts, and Monitor. A couple hrs west is jewel of a road, hwy 1, that runs along the pacific. There is so much good riding around here. This particular spot is an hour from my front door.

I've had the strom about a month now. Loving it more each ride. Today I had a chance to try out my newest farkles...the Kaoko throttle lock works well, the powerlet rearset plug kept my heated vest toasty, the Bags Connection tank bag is solid. Just a few more odds and ends and it will be finished

Wow, that road looks fantastic. That's a big rear case, what kind is it? No side cases for this ride? I got the Givi E21s which are small enough to keep on all the time. Nice bike, and nice road.

Enjoy.

Dr,

That's a lovely looking road.

I'd love to get out there some day.

I've ridden parts of Highway 1 and it is a beautiful place. Phoenix to Arroyo Grande and up to San Simeon, then back down to Camarillo and along the coast to LA before heading back to Phoenix by way of Joshua Tree National Park. There is some fantastic scenery in that area.

It's a Givi V46. I also have the E21 side cases but I opted to use the tail case that day.

That's a great, great road and, by the way, not so little. Had the great fortune to ride it last Sept. By my experience, the Strom loves every road.

If you want to try something REALLY spectacular keep an eye on the Caltrans website for the spring opening of the Sonora Pass road and get up there as soon as you can -- preferably on a sunny day so the road surface is free of ice. I have a pic somewhere of my old Goldwing parked under a snow wall about 20' high.

Bring good sunglasses.
