Which front wheel do I have?

I ride a K6 650 with a side car. The side car uses a V-Strom front wheel with a single disk as its wheel and break. I need a new disk. When I look up the disk there are two part numbers for the disk, one for '04 - '06 and one for
'07 & '08. The wheel was used and the people who built the side car don't know what year the bike was that donated the wheel. I don't see a part number on the wheel. Any ideas on determining which disk to order?
Thanks,
Kent

Might try going to a site such as bike bandit and looking at the parts blow up for those years to see if there is an obvious difference between the discs.

You might be able to determine which one it is by comparing the sidecar wheel with your K6 wee wheel/rotors.
...or if you could determine the sidecar was built with wheel prior to '07, that would answer it.

Here's a link to the side care builder's site. http://www.dmcsidecars.com/Sidecars/M72_Sidecar.htm

Mine is the light blue 650 to the left.

Garage
You can tell by looking at the center opening. That's an '06 or earlier disk on your bike.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s
