Adventure rider

For all you adventure riders.

Scanning some slides from a western ride in 1973, and I came across this. Chuck and his bike in Oregon. We rode and camped together for a couple of days. He and his wife had ridden to 47 states already on a Honda 450. Quit his job one day looked at his wife and said let's go. Now that's what I call adventure.

Been just about everywhere, and most places twice.....But not nearly as many places as pinkman

In a hundred years..... All new people

I love the hammer strapped to the pack of his bike! Great smile too. Happy man.

Reminds Me of Something...

1970's time frame, a Honda and a BMW in the photo, and a trip out west. Kinda reminds me of the book "Zen and The Art of Motorcycle Maintanence".

Blue 2002 DL1000 ("Blue Suzi"); A few essentials, a few more to go.

I would guess....to keep from rubbing the polished finish off the case????

I like the "underslung mirrors" on the "highway bars". Life was simple back then, gas was cheap (well, cheaper than today), and haircuts were few and far between!!!! Long live the '70's........now, pass me that bottle of Boonesfarm.
