DL1000 vs 650 stock seats...does the 1000 put you in the wind more
I have the stock seat on my 650 and am comparing it with a DL1000 seat I borrowed from a fellow forum member. It's a little flatter and higher which is nice for leg room and butt comfort but I notice it sets me up higher which I assume means I will be in the wind more since I am higher relative to windscreen and fairing. Not sure if a little more leg room is a good trade-off for more wind. Interestingly I also noticed it puts me a little closer to the tank and my tank bag, the opposite of what I had thought.
For those that are running a DL1000 seat on a 650, did you find you had less wind protection?
