Ordering parts

Just ordered fork parts from cheapcycleparts. Stealer wanted $20 for the dust seal, around $15 online. Saved about 30 bucks with all the stuff I ordered. What a difference!

BikeBandit is a good deal. You make Bandit Bucks with each purchase and you get a nice AMA member discount too.

I won't deal with BikeBandit because of my experiences with their crappy customer service/return policy. I've also read poor reports about CheapCycleParts' shipping.

Caveat emptor.

Sorry. I don't mean to be Donny Downer on the subject. I hope your purchase works out well for you, HighVelocity. Please update us on your experience when everything comes in. I'm always eager to hear both sides!

Ron Ayers is routinely cheaper on OEM parts...and are faster to ship with less hassle on returns.

Same body part for my Vee recently was $84.95 at Bike Bandit, $49.95 at Ayers.

I'm down on Bike Bandit too. Really bad experience with customer service. Never again for me.

Check MRcycles. The last time I looked at Oneida Suzuki parts the gouge for shipping was too deep.

And those reports must be true. I called them today and they told me my order will be here at the end of next week. That will put them here11-13 days after I ordered them I will never order from them again if I'm in a hurry. Oh well, my Elka should be here next week too so I'll get to try that out along with my new front suspension at the same time
