Aerostich Prudhoe Bay Tour

Anyone besides me doing the Aerostich Fairbanks to Deadhorse tour June 18-21? I'm hoping I won't be the only non GS rider on the ride.

I'm not on the tour, but those dates look to be the days I'll be on the haul road.

It sounds like fun but $395 for a welcome dinner and assistance with minor repairs? Or am I missing something? I can understand needing technical support when doing this on a GS but on a V-Strom?

Also, I wonder how useful "ride support with cell phones" would be in the Brooks Range. If there is cell service up there, then most riders can use their own phones, unless of course they're with AT&T. If not, what's the point? (Unless they have satellite phones.)
