Please do not ride the Dalton with a front tyre pressure of 38psi, you will probably crash. Lower the front to around 20psi max, this will not cause too much more wear and will be a lot easier to control the bike. Lower the rear to 10psi below what you would ride on the pavement even riding 2up.
The front TKC will last no problem, the rear will be worn but will probably get you to Seattle, where the tyre prices will be cheaper. If you do run a bit low on the back after returning to Fairbanks, go to Friar Mikes in Wasilla, some tyres get changed there with good tread on them and he will give them away. He is a bike mechanic and is on ADVrider.
When you get back onto pavement, inflate to normal pressure.
