Wee Service or Repair Manual

Can anyone tell me where to get a service or repair manual for the DL650 that goes beyond the basic owner's manual. I don't think Clymer's makes one...

Regards,

Chris McCarthy

http://www.repairmanual.com/motorcyc.../0/19425/19988 is where I got mine.

Pat- 2007 DL650A was ridden to all 48 contiguous states. I didn't quite make it to 17,000 miles on the 2012 DL650A.
Nicknames I use to lessen typing, Vee = 2002-2012 DL1000s. Vee2=2014-2016 DL1000s. Wee = 2004-2011 DL650s. Glee = 2012-2016 DL650s

got one off ebay. Picked up a 07 (I got a 09). 07 and up the only change is the stater got 25 watt bigger. Besides that its the same bike. Also suzuki dose not realy revise the manual but just adds to it any year there is major changes, so its has its general section and model year sections.

If you're lucky, E-Bay is a great place to find one, make sure it's a factory manual, not a copy. I couldn't get one for my Vee, so I called three different dealers, got three different prices? Ended up giving $74.00 + tax, they retail for around $88.00. Cheers--BB

I just ordered one off of ebay two days ago. It claimed it was legit... Should receive it in another day or two. It was $36.

I ordered the real-deal Suzuki Service Manual, electronic version [PDF] of Ebay Motors for my Wee - and yes, it's legit!....it cost only $5, and the guy sent me a DVD with everything on it, as well as a PDF download. I figured, it's only a couple bux, I'll chance it - and it's the real thing. All I gotz to do is print off a few select sheets that I will use a lot and throw em in a binder.

No PDF is legit. Suzuki owns the rights to the service manual and only publishes a paper copy. Ebay versions under $50 are almost always illegal copies of the factory manual, whether scanned to files or paper copies. Look at the PDF copy and I'll bet you can see images of the ring binder holes in the original. Also, the cover page probably has a ragged left side from where it was torn off that's easy to see as it is the only page that is not white on the left edge.

The Suzuki factory manual is more than worth its weight in gold. EVERYTHING you need to know about the bike is covered. Spend the money and get one from a dealer. I have always prefered a hard copy of a manual over anything computerized.
