Adjustable Kickstand (long story)

I am new to V-Stroms, purchased a 650 last summer, but found the bike was a little too tall for me. I purchased Kouba lowering links for the bike and it made it perfect for me to ride. Now I am have a kickstand problem, as anyone who uses lowering/raising links finds out. I thought about cutting the kickstand and then worried about resale or changing the links back to stock in the future. I did a search on the internet for an adjustable kickstand that I had seen on a friends sport bike. I contacted Soup's Performance shop and was told they could make a kickstand if they had a stock one to work with. I live on the east coast and purchased my Wee to use at my mom's house in Oregon as I visit several times a year for a least a month, so I don't have access to the bike right now. Would anyone be interested in working with Soup's Performance? I can provide contact information. I also wondered if the Vee's kickstand was identical to the Wee and that would help all riders of V-Stroms. Thanks.
