Calling all Coocase owners...

Help...

I stupidly locked both my MC key, and remote and the secondary key for my Coocase topcase in the danged topcase... To make matters worse, I work in a remote govt nuc site out in the middle of nowhere. No public access allowed, so I couldn't just have my wife bring me another MC key. Had to hitch a ride in and will need to hitch a ride back out in the morning w/ spare MC key.

Anyway, any hints on how to get the damn Coocase topcase open (non-destructive techniques preferred), now that both remote and key are inside?

The only true wisdom is in knowing you know nothing.

ooooh... that's one of the reasons I opted to pass on the coocase... I was worried about doing exactly what you did...

Sorry.... No ideas there. Is there a key code on the lock? Oh, wait... Crap!? That's a good one!

Tuning in for this one... My best suggestion: Call the manufacturer and see if they can offer any advice... I don't think there's going to be a good way that's not destructive...

stent Coocase lockout.

Stent,

Just wondering if you were able to get into your Coocase? I've got a couple of ideas if you're still stuck.

Not familiar with the coocase, but your could use a hole saw and drill the smallest size hole to fish the keys out using a coat hanger. After that, patch with a piece of matching plastic and maybe pop rivet it into place. Not perfect, but would work. Hopefullly you can come up with something better.
GOOD LUCK!!

You could call Chloe O'Brian over at CTU, I am sure she could look up the receiver and bounce a signal off your cell phone to trigger the latch to open ... seriously, I feel bad for you, hope it got resolved.
