60,000 Mile Club(?)

I just arrived home from a 1,118 mile weekend trip up to Miscou Island, New Brunswick, Canada. While on this trip, I passed another mileage milestone for me. About noon time, (EST is on my dash clock), September 19, 2009, travelling West on RT 11 heading into Bathurst, N.B.

(I actually now have 60,516 miles. 2007 DL-650.).

2007 DL-650 (I gave away in 2012 with 111,000 + miles)

Man, you're rolling through the miles. You definitely get your moneys worth with these bikes.

I'll tell you this, no eternal reward will forgive us now for wasting the dawn.

Wow, 60k miles and you've still got half a tank of fuel! How do you get such great fuel economy?

And did you seriously take this photo at 85mph?? I'd better never hear you complain about some cager texting...

I'm rolling up on 70k miles. It's been a darn good bike so far, and I hope it stays that way for many more miles to come.

One of the reasons there are high miles is because I am poor; literally. My bike is the only vehicle that I own from mid-May to mid-September; I ride my bike everyday out of necessity, (and live paycheck to paycheck.).

I'm right behind you Lab. Only 58,750 miles to go!

Was that video camera on your helmet or were you actually holding it? The last split second made me nervous, I gotta tell you. But it's a great video.

You should try riding behind him when he turns around to take your picture.
