I've shortened both fenders. I cut the rear fender and relocated the license plate so that the bottom edge is even with the mufflers. I cut 3" off the lower end and 2" off the upper end of the front fender. I can now roll the tires out without hassle. And it looks much better.

The PO cut the fender on my bike. Today, I just added a Pelican 1150 box and LED License Frame. I remove the license plate light. I put a Stainless Plate to cover the holes of the light bracket.. It will serve as an inspection sticker plate. I will take a few pictures and post them. Originally I wasn't happy about the cut fender. It really grows on you. The pelican box makes it look kinda "Normal".

These are the photo's of the pelican 1150 on a cut fender. I removed the license plate light and installed a plate for the inspection sticker. I put a LED licence plate bracket on the Pelican Case. The license plate reflection made that photo pretty dark. I put the Helmet Locks on the side of the Pelican Case.
