Ultra cool HD portable radio

I have used this for about a month riding my Vstrom - LOVE IT!

Highly reccomended!

Ha! The subject led me to a different conclusion than expected. I was thinking a radio with lots of black and chrome and huge speakers but terrible sound quality. Imagine my surprise!

I've had one on order for a month. Best Buy just cancelled it for unavailability.

my insignia MP3 player has an FM tuner. has great reception when i'm outside. can pick up everything my car does but some are staticy.

Somtimes it sucks not being in the loop. HUH??[FONT="Comic Sans MS"][SIZE="2"][COLOR="Olive"][/COLOR][/SIZE][/FONT]

Just checked online availabilty at local stores and I show they are available at a few stores near me, may want to check stores around you.

Except - sorry, majority of sat radio channels are so compressed that quality is terrible. Yes I tried and yes - I expect some people are more sensitive to that than others.

In related news - if you do not want to carry two (or more) devices around, IMO this is the answer to having portable HD radio as well as all your MP3s and be able to watch video in high def:

I get over 50 stations on the Insignia and dont have a monthly subscription fee.

Now if I was going nationwide and wanted to listen to the same station, or I couldnt get reception where I lived - I'd be all over it!
